Step 1: Complete the Questionaire

Begin by answering a questionnaire about your health, lifestyle, and fitness goals. This helps us tailor the testing process to your individual needs and ensures your safety throughout.

Step 2: Gear Up for the Test

Next, you will be fitted with the necessary equipment, including a breathable mask and a heart rate monitor. These tools allow us to accurately measure your respiratory and cardiovascular responses during the test.

Step 3: Resting Metabolic Rate Test

You will lie flat and relax on a massage bed for about 10 mins while we measure your resting metabolic rate (RMR). This test captures how many calories your body burns at rest, providing key insights into your metabolism.

Step 4: Active Metabolic Rate Test on the Treadmill

Finally, you will move to the treadmill for the active metabolic rate test (AMR). This involves controlled exercise to assess how your body uses energy during physical activity, helping us determine your fitness capacity and endurance.

Step 5: Review the Reports

After your VO₂ Max and Metabolic tests, you will receive two detailed reports: your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and Active Metabolic Rate (AMR). These reports reveal how your body uses energy at rest and during activity. With this insight, you can personalise your nutrition, training, and recovery to improve performance, support your goals, and enhance your overall health.
