Yoga is more than just a system of physical exercises. It is a classical tradition that harmonises the body, mind and soul. There are four main paths to attaining health, happiness and peace of mind. They are Karma Yoga (selfless service), Bhakti Yoga (devotion), Raja Yoga (eight limbs) and Jnana Yoga (knowledge). Bhakti flow is a class that integrates the 2 paths of yoga, “devotion” and “eight limbs”. It combines the expression of mantras and chants with the fluidity of a vinyasa flow class. The focus is on weaving chants and asanas together to create a more heart-based, devotional experience. The practice remains dynamic, featuring a 30-minute vinyasa flow where the body moves with the breath and poses are generally held for shorter periods. An additional 30 minutes is dedicated to pranayama, chanting, and meditation, offering a balanced experience at the beginning and end of the practice. Suitable for students with some yoga experience looking for an invigorating experience. Some preparations for inversions and Advanced Level postures may be introduced, with options for Mixed Level students to ease the transition to Advanced Level classes.
